#24 I’ve lost a lot of weight, but I’m afraid of things changing when I re-feed. How can I determine how much I will gain after fasting?

How much you gain after refeeding is completely unknown. It’s common to see 5 or even 10 lbs come back on, depending on your eating habits. If you start eating again and you’re eating the recommended foods, I genuinely would not worry about any weight gain. Your focus would probably need to be on your digestive system or possibly your liver function. One way to minimize weight gain when you start to eat again, would be to adopt an intermittent fasting schedule. You can also adopt a one meal a day fasting schedule. Both will help to keep the weight off, or continue you down your path of weight loss. A very important thing to remember is that as long as you’re eating the proper foods, the weight you gain is not the weight you lost, meaning you will notice that you might gain 5 or 10 lbs back, but you won’t look like you’ve gained 5 or 10 lbs back.
